Bluebird Ice Cream

We wanted ice cream or something sweet after dinner and our car took us here on a Friday night. So glad we did. Bluebird has been on my radar for a while now and we just got around to trying some. It's tucked next to a Greek restaurant next door. They do small batches of listed flavors. I think I counted 10 flavors. Some typical flavors, some not so conventional. I'm sure this place gets pretty packed and busy in the warmer months. So late winter/early spring is the best time to come give them a try. They (IMO) are one of the local ice cream heavyweights around town. The only draw back is the parking, there is residential parking and not enough business parking. Maybe when the weather gets nicer you can park a little further away and work up an appetite for some yummy ice cream

I am not sure what the recent ratings are about. Salted caramel was salty milk basically. I have never thrown away ice cream in my life until I had from here and I am pretty sad about that life event. Please avoid.

Their Fudge Chocolate flavor is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I typically order something other than chocolate when I get ice cream, but not when this flavor is available. It reminds me of eating brownie batter out of the bowl. I wish they carried it year round! Always worth a visit to Blue Bird :)

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating. We have tried almost all of the seasonal flavors and a few of the standard ones, and they all blew us away. The cookie butter seasonal flavor is unbelievable, as is the chocolate hazelnut. We also loved the chocolate chunk. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. I only wish we found it sooner!

Best ice cream ever! We came here because I was craving a sweet treat and I was specifically looking for soft serve ice cream. I had their vanilla bean and my boyfriend had the mint. And both were absolutely delicious.

Not a review for this location but just for their ice cream in general- They have a stand at the Bellevue farmers market on Thursdays and their ice cream is delicious + their staff is always very friendly! Waffle cones are freshly made and all their flavors are fantastic. I especially liked lemon cookie from last week, their vanilla and strawberry are also favorites for my family and I. Whenever we go to the farmers market we have to get Bluebird ice cream, it's delicious!
