I ordered to cinnamon roll French toast with fresh strawberries and candied figs compote, with whipped cream on top. We also tried the muffins, the eggs Benedict and their coffee. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was great and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be going back. They did have drink specials but we didn’t order anything aside from coffee and water.
Parking: The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so depending on the time of day the parking lot can be a little crowded.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for everyone to choose from.
The blueberry pancakes are very good. The latte I ordered was a few degrees warmer than room temperature. By the time I was half way through breakfast, my latte was stone cold. I advised our waitress, ordered a second latte to go, and asked if it could be made the the standard temperature, (specifying not extra-ordinarily hot - as I had pointed out the previous cold latte). My second latte in arrived in a paper cup and was so hot I was unable to hold the cup. I pointed out the issue (again) to my server and at my request, I was given a second paper cup to double cup it. I then realized it was scalded and too hot be safe carrying. I asked it to be remade and was given a room temperature replacement. This type of horrible service is in no one's best interest.
One of our favorite places in Wilmington! Every time we go I try something new and every time it's a new favorite. Service is great, whole vibe is bright and fun.
Great food and great staff!
Blueberry pancakes had 5 blueberries in it! After I already sent it back the first time because it was served with no blueberries in it. And I asked the server before ordering the blueberry pancakes if the blueberries came in it or on it and she said both. They serve probably 2 tablespoons of syrup for your pancakes. And when asked for more, they failed to bring it. The pancake tasted like flour, it had no good taste to it. The guest I was with had the fried eggs and one of the eggs looked light, yellow, and watery. He couldn’t eat it. The coffee cost over $4.00! The food portions are very small and the cost is very high, over $20 for eggs, sausage and potatoes!! Atmosphere was nice, but that’s it. Don’t waste your time or money.
