Selective service probably based on appearance came in And waited to be seated, and only to have to ask where if I could sit anywhere and then after Being seated, I then was automatically assumed to be taking my food to go and waited approximately 10 minutes for a menu and another 10 minutes before server asked me what I want to order food was subpar very mediocre not Worth the trip
This is a cute little diner! The service was friendly and fast, food was delicious, and super reasonably priced. We had a large group and had struggled to find a place with enough seating, but they got us right in and it was great!
the definition of a neighborhood diner.
Lots of people who can get the job done without the distractions and a good breakfast that was affordable before 99% of businesses auto inflated their prices. I’m not really looking but this place seems very stable as far as pricing goes and the quality of food and service has been 9 of 10 for around 30 years now. Maybe more. Think about how many places have come and gone. I hope this place gets to stick around as long as they like. I guess it helps they only take cash and you dont pay a premium to a middle man and fancy app that makes throwing money out the window so easy. Just call, order and then pickup in 20 minutes and have some spare change to pay your credit debt. It’ll help you digest your breakfast. Vegetarian options: The Greek omelet is amazing. And light rye toast should not be hard to find. You can find it here Kid-friendliness: Hi chairs and families everywhere. About as normal as Roslindale gets with a mix of blue and white collar families co-mingling.
While driving around this area I look for mom& pop's restaurants. Nice spot & good food. Waitress friendly with quick service.
