Big portion, fair price, service is good. The freshly made beignets really wowed us. We thought we were full but we ate them all.

Went for Valentine’s Day because I come to this location often. They took about an hour and a half getting my food out while the entire time looking at my girlfriend and I waiting for the food. They gave us an undercooked (FRIES WERE RAW) and cold food as well as a sorry and made us pay full price. Meant to write this a few weeks ago honestly loved this restaurant was my number one pick and I’ve been going here for years. Won’t be going back! Avoid this place.

The only reason this doesn’t have two stars is the service. Don’t go here for the barbecue, never go here for the side dishes, but the service is excellent. I’m from the South; I love barbecue. Blue Smoke is not it. Credit where credit’s due, they smoke all their meat themselves for up to 16 hours. You can tell, and I do respect that. They have stretched themselves too thin, however, by trying to copy almost every barbecue style in the country. Not just Kansas City and Memphis, no—they offer Alabama white sauce and Arkansas cheese dip. The menu just tries to cover all the bases and falls short of them all. The sauces were actually pretty good, and fairly true to their regions. The rest of the food struggled. The ribs are decent, they were pull apart as they should be. They claimed to be Memphis style but were slathered in sauce in the kitchen (not a wet rub, a sauce), which I, at least, have never found in Memphis, so that was a bit misleading. They had a thick crust formed on the top and bottom which was neither tender, nor pull apart, and it made them difficult to eat. The brisket is Texas style, which I assume is just meant to refer to its blackened crust and no sauce. I’m not sure if they actually use different wood to smoke all these different styles authentically. It was okay. Some pieces were better than others. The sides were basically from Applebee’s. Any barbecue place should be embarrassed to have their Mac n cheese which was not the true dish and barely above Kraft quality. It was not baked, it was just tossed in what was ostensibly a mornay sauce, but I’d be shocked to find that the sauce wasn’t prepackaged. The same goes for the gravy on the potatoes. Cracker Barrel shouldn’t have better gravy than a place that prides themselves on being authentic (as the staff told me). The cornbread was decent, the muffins were four dollars for a single muffin, so we didn’t try it. The buttermilk chicken bites were all right, though they didn’t taste like buttermilk and the coating of breading was far thinner than any piece of chicken that has ever been fried south of Pennsylvania. The Cole Slaw was fine too, nothing special. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed by the food. If the menu would try to settle on one style, or even do it’s own thing, instead of trying to do everything everywhere, I think they could improve the taste of their food. I’d hate to taste their beignets; fortunately they were out. I don’t understand why any place outside of Louisiana, much less north of the Mason-Dixon Line insists upon ruining the good name of beignets. Those aren’t even barbecue!! I brought a non-American friend to try barbecue, because I could not take him to the actual barbecue cities, sadly, and he enjoyed it. The staff was very polite and professional while being friendly and helpful. They were very attentive, though the place wasn’t very busy when I was there. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a large wide space in an open concept area. The hallway for the bathrooms are large, and the bathrooms themselves are a good size.

Excellent service, delicious food. This restaurant is 5 minutes away from the World Trade Center in New York City. My friends and my family were satisfied with the Happy Hour spicy wings and the Smoke Show. These two choices were fantastic for 5 people. This place is recommended with 5 stars.

Ordered ahead of time scheduled for delivery. After order an hour late I called them to find out they are running 2 hours behind. Very hard to reach on phone. To be fair it is Superbowl but I placed order far in advanced. I cancelled order, hopefully I get refunded..
