Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya

had a reservation here for 9 on a friday. the restaurant had a nice chill vibe it’s a good option if you are looking for something with decent sushi and a slower pace than omakase. wide variety of fish with lots of nigiri specials which i love. the maine uni was delicious and i had never had uni from maine before. what really blew me away was the green tea crème brûlée. it was technically one of the best crème brûlées i have had. the custard was incredible creamy and the top was perfectly caramelized. it was also a large portion

They are a pathetic copy of the Blue Ribbon in Soho! Ridiculously overpriced their food taste worse then any sushi or rolls you see in the supermarket! Don’t waste you money for nothing! Instead, order from the original Blue Ribbon in Soho!

This is the place to be. The atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable, the service is excellent, and more importantly, the sushi is delectable. I am usually picky but I decided to order a multitude of items because of how tasty they sounded. The drinks are also quite good.

The sushi and sashimi will not blow your mind, especially for the price. None of the chefs preparing the food was wearing gloves. Lastly, the waiter who took our order was not very helpful with the extensive menu while ordering and disappeared on which was very annoying! We’ll visit the original location next time, and never go back to this one.

Great place to bring a date or have dinner with friends but beware it's going to be very pricey. The rooftop view is definitely worth it though.
