Blue Marlin

We eat out a lot! Blue Marlin is our favorite. We can bring our dog, Bella, and walk here around the area! It is her favorite place as well! Food and service -the best! Coty and Emma do a great job! They all do! Thanks for a night of good vibes and food! Parking: We have handicap sticker so that is a blessing

This was the only restaurant that I visited in Columbia, SC! What a great choice. The food was delicious! I had seared tuna!

Blue Marlin is a seafood focused restaurant that delivers a standard experience. The food is decent but leaves very little to be excited about. The standard seafood fare matches that of any other major restaurant in the area, which is disappointing considering it is seafood focused. Thankfully, the service has historically been better than the food, which makes the experience a little better. The atmosphere is a little dated but fits the early 2000s nautical style decor of wood with gold accents.

Really nice place to sit outdoors and have a nice meal, when the weather allows. Service is on point. I had the salmon Pontchartrain with shrimp and scallops topping it. A grit cake that made my eyes roll back in my head. My wife had the scallop dinner. Both meals were exceptional. Maybe her fingerling potatoes were a little overcooked, but overall, two really fine meals. We had the pecan crusted calamari for an app. Light batter and a very healthy portion. Oh yeah. Instead of before dinner bread....... ask for complimentary collard greens. I promise they will be as good as any you've ever had. update 3 19 lunch. the shrimp and grits are awesome, and Sabrina R rocks as a server

Took my brother here when he came from NC visiting. Only observation I have is I would have liked to see more choices for lunch. Otherwise, food was delicious wine options were very good. Definitely a return customer.

This place is amazing. Food is awesome and service impeccable.
