Blue Flame - Southern Restaurant

A first time visit to Blue Flame and it was a positive one. The inside was very clean, the employees were very nice and friendly. The food that I tried was pretty good. There was a line but it was not a long wait time. I do feel like the portions for the side items could be a little larger for the price that you pay. I did not visit the restroom as I had a togo order. All and all it was a positive experience and when I am in that area I will re- visit.

Wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. Price wise this place high but hey who isn’t. I would recommend this place.

Exceptional dishes with standard service.

This place food was awesome. Me and my husband ordered oxtails yellow rice, chitterlings, white rice, greens, cabbage, sweet potato, macaroni cheese, sweet potato pie, deviled eggs and blue lemonade juice. I'm from Daytona Beach and I will be coming back to Tampa just to eat here again. I'm also a picky person, certified in culinary arts and when I tell you that I couldn't find one thing wrong with this food, it was mind blowing for me to eat at a restaurant with soul food that tasted this good. 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us.

Great place Great food Great people

I visited Tampa for a weekend and wanted some soul food, luckily this place wasn’t far from my hotel. I got the oxtail meal with rice, candied yams and Mac and cheese, over all the food was pretty good and flavorful, it could’ve been a tad bit warmer though.

Always clean in there. Food is always great. Not too salty like a lot of soul food restaurants. I've been coming to Blue Flame for a year and never been disappointed. Owner is super nice!
