Blue Door Seafood Taverna

We loved our experience here, this spot is serving up some classics and some unique dishes I’ve never seen before! Blue Door was the perfect spot for date night as well, it’s beautifully decorated —as close as you’re getting to feeling like you’re in Greece in south Brooklyn! Must try dishes: Grilled Octopus Fried Shrimp w/ Skordalia SQUID INK SEAFOOD PASTA: Fresh squid ink linguini, mussels, calamari, shrimp, octopus, lemon zest, creamy dill white sauce BLUE DOOR BURGER

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces! The food gets more delicious as the courses go on. I always get the hot feta spread on the delicious warm pita and continue with the shrimp pita and incredible French fries. You can even get some feta on those fries My kids who don’t eat will eat at least 3 of the chicken on a stick. I will continue to come back for more and more for every reason there is! Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome which is always a plus! The owner even gives them some coloring supplies and a cute picture to keep them busy!

Best Greek food in Brooklyn by far!

I have never experienced more authentic Greek food in the area. All the food was fresh, beautiful ambience and great service. Highly recommend for true authentic Greek Food

Small cute place, nice atmosphere with tasty food and EXCELLENT desserts galaktoboureko is a must, you need to try.. the taste of galaktoboureko is so delicate that if you have space after a nice meal you had you need more and more lol . I can’t wait to go back for the “heaven dessert” they have!!

Food was good, but our reservation was for 7:15. Got there on time, we were served our food at 9:25. We almost walked out, told them that, then our food suddenly came out. Will not be going back, the wait time for food was way too long.
