David and Euan are the best bartenders ever

We had booked this place a few days in advance after hearing good things. When we arrived we were seated at one of the high tables that naturally came with high chairs (bar stools). I sat down on one of the stools and the cushion seat completely slid off the metal frame causing me to fall through and hit my head off the wall behind me. I made our server aware of the issue whose reply was “aww have you seen the screw”. I enquired as to whether he was aware of the issue and he stated he was and that this happens often (guests falling through the seat). Surely a high end bar would take this stool out of commission since it poses such a massive safety hazard? No apologies were offered. The drinks were average and in my opinion not worth the money. The service was slow and not what you’d expect for such a pricey bar. The pianist and the magician were a nice touch but not sure they make up for the average drinks, poor service and safety hazards.

Really special, great cocktails and service. Perfect spot to stop off and have something special before heading to a show or night out. Maybe the best aviation I’ve had in glasgow!

We’d purchased a cocktail tasting session and have to say that David made it a brilliant experience! Quality cocktails, chat and superb service throughout our visit from start to finish. All topped off with an open mic night which we loved! Highly recommend x

Blue dog was great , but David changed my like im a single mom of six and David was amazing in service and suggestion!
