Blue Bayou Restaurant

I've always wanted to dine here, It was a cool experience. I asked to be seated at the water and they granted my request. It was really nice watching all the boats from The Pirates of the Caribbean ride go by. The food was great but the price was expensive for what it was. It was cool to experience once, but I wouldn't go back.

We HATED this place. I had a friend suggest it so we tried it. It wasted so much of our time. We had a reservation and they didn’t seat us until 50 min after our reservation time. They put us in a table near the kitchen. Our server actually didn’t even greet us until 30 min after we were seated but only to tell us she had a family emergency and needed to leave. The previous server who we assumed had the family emergency, literally stood behind us by the kitchen talking to another coworker about how much she hated to work there. She stood there talking until we were done with our entire meal, so I’m just guessing she didn’t want another table. It was awful. Please don’t waste your time like we did.

I believe anyone interested in dining here will know it's difficult to get a reservation that's within 30 days. The restaurant is a novelty and all the stars I'm giving it is only because it's a novelty and nothing more. The atmosphere is interesting to say the least and I was lucky to get a water side table, but after getting over the fact that I was dining inside/next to an water ride, the excitement quickly wore off and I remembered I was there to dine. Sadly, this place fails at being anything but another money grab by Disneyland. The brussel sprouts salad was the worst salad I've ever had, the croutons were atrocious and inedible. The prime rib was cooked like a joke and was 50% fat. I won't be dining here again even if someone gave me their reservation and I won't recommend dining here to anyone. Go spend your money buying a couple giant turkey legs instead and upgrade to Genie+ while you're at it. Vegetarian options: I'm sure there can be accommodations made for vegetarians. Dietary restrictions: The restaurant will accommodate most dietary restrictions. Parking: Disneyland parking Kid-friendliness: There's a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Disneyland will accommodate wheelchairs just about anywhere.

AMAZING!! Sit inside the ride and have 5 star meal. So nice to sit for a bit in quiet and have a cocktail and great food.! Service is absolutely incredible

Took my gf for her birthday, it was her first time there. I haven't been to it since mid 2000s. Server annoyed and rushed us. We ordered 4 appetizers and drinks. She asked us what we were ordering for dinner. We told her that it would just be this for the moment. Stormed off taking a menu like we did something wrong. I was thinking that she was concerned about a tip because of what we were ordering. I worked in the food industry and understand but good service does get rewarded. The amount of portions for pricing was crazy. She came back to check in several times we asked for condiments and refills took a while. She asked if we wanted anything else. My gf was getting annoyed like we are being rushed. We changed our minds on desert, and asked for the check she immediately called for the busser to clear off the table as we sat there. There was a table by us that ordered 2 waters, a salad and a cut of gumbo. They got to pay and leave before anyone came by to clear the table or rushed. My gf looked at me like what is going on. The table was cleared before we got to pay wasnt asked.if we were annual passholders, we told her as i handed her my card but looking at the check after paying it, it didnt reflect the discount. For the amount of money we better off getting the bread bowls outside of the bayou. Even the atmosphere was unenjoyable because of how rushed we felt. We were in there 30 minutes.

I absolutely love this restaurant, ever since I was a child it's been my favorite place! Definitely eat here if you're in Disneyland...

Al was wonderful! He was so bubbly and made our experience more memorable
