Blu seafood restaurant & bar

Ordered from Uber eats and food was not fresh.

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening, the vibes were nice and the food was on point. The service was kinda slow (1 waitress working) but overall a good experience. Had the chicken wings and Seafood Jamboree.

The food was good. The service was fine until more customers started to arrive because the place was small. I get the feeling they try to usher out before I can swallow the last piece of food in my mouth. It can be a nice setting if the bar was separate from the restaurant, then the restaurant would have more tables for customers. The way it is now, I don't think kids should be eating, and alcohol is serving, not even 3 feet away

Happy hour, good rum punch. It can knock you out.

Impropmtu visit on a karaoke night...Chill vibes~NIce lounge! Food and drink were good! Will definitely return!

Date night ruined! Got there for an 8pm reservation (which they never checked) Had to wait for the bartender to alert the server/host that we had been standing there for 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. When we were seated we had to request that the chair be wiped down because it was dirty and that seemed to annoy the server. She seemed to be working alone so I could understand her possibly being overwhelmed. They didn’t have half the menu including crab legs and lobster tails and seafood egg rolls (it’s a “seafood” restaurant) and when I alerted the server that the hamburger bun was soggy with an oily buttery substance and requested a replacement bun, another lady came out and said there was no butter on the bun and never bothered to replace the bun as requested. The place wasn’t packed, but a couple next to us got up and left after not being served in a timely fashion. If it wasn’t 8pm, we would’ve done the same. They also only have one bathroom. Highly disappointing. Patronize at your own risk.

I went to Blue (Merrick) shortly after its grand opening Yesterday I recommended it to my brother and unfortunately...they still don't have the food options they advertise (lobster, crab legs) they're still using the excuse (it'll take to long to thaw, etc) and wait time on basics still over an hour. The server was not knowledgeable and every question had to be checked with the kitchen and eventually the mgr. You can't call yourself a seafood restaurant and the only options are fish and shrimp?...I never review a new restaurant because I know there are kinks. But a year later and NOTHING has changed (we went early around 5pm, my brother went at 8pm). Saddest part is when the food did arrive it was pretty good) had hopes for this place. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
