Blind Bishop

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The wines were out of this world, and carefully explained by the waitstaff. The food was fresh, very unique, and perfectly prepared. The proprietor and the waiters took time to warmly explain to us details of the menu and engage with us personally. It felt like being in someone’s home.

Amazing wine selection, very knowledgeable staff, they helped us with pairings for dinner. Had the Chilean Sea Bass, it was so good we had to ask for the recipe, and they gave it to us! Which I thought spoke very positively to their level of service.

I had a wonderful experience at Blind Bishop (Dallas Wine Education Center). I took the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Course and Examination and learned so much about grape varieties from all over the world, wine making, tasting, pairing, storage and service. The course was very well-organized, engaging and informative. The tasting samples were carefully selected. The instructor, Dilek Caner, was amazing. She is a Master of Wine, a title held by only 54 people in the U.S. and 417 people around the world. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the wine industry and shared many insights and tips with us. She was also very patient, supportive and approachable. She made the learning process fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend the Blind Bishop to anyone who wants to learn more about wine or pursue a wine certification. Thank you, Dilek, for being such a great teacher and mentor!

Wonderful spot for wine tasing and wine education.

I made a reservation for Saturday Sept 23 at 6pm. My friends and I hadn’t been here before and we were excited to try it. When we walked up the place was dark and had a lockbox on the door. The inside looked set up for drinks. Very odd. No info on their website, Instagram or phone about being closed. All information said they were open. Super disappointed.

Dilek is a treasure. She's knowledgeable and friendly. She's kind and patient. The food was delicious. Our group tried various wine pairings - all were great. Fantastic wine selection.
