This is undoubtedly the worst burger I've ever had in the States (my entire life). It was hard, dry, and bland. 20 bucks for a BLT burger. The bacon was as black as coal and hard as fossil; the burger bun tasted like you were chewing on a towel. I saw a few 5-star reviews praising this restaurant's burgers before I purchased them, and I was like, "Huh, how bad could it possibly be?" But after having tested it myself, I wondered what kind of drugs they were on before leaving a 5-star review, and I want some too. I would have liked to give this restaurant a zero star. Unfortunately, that was not an option...
We walked into eat breakfast at 9:45 and were told they stopped serving breakfast. The menu and posted signs said breakfast til 10am. Very disappointed.
I visited here on Nov 3rd 11 am. What is wrong with the front desk staff (it was an African American lady during my visit, had to be specific in case any management sees this)?? She pointed at every single customer with her finger and had us show her our receipts. No announcing receipt number, or asking anyone to show our receipts politely. So terribly rude. Why do you think you could just be pointing at customers and treating us like that? I ordered the grain bowl, after 10 min and being pointed at, she rudely said we don’t have the grain bowl and then yelled “no grain” as if I don’t understand English. Fine, if you don’t have something please update your order machine. How is this place still open with this type of staff here? I wasn’t the only one, she messed up a few orders and was unapologetic at all! So disgusting she needs to get fired Food is very overpriced. Not recommended at all!
I have Celiac disease and was very excited to see BLD offered gluten-free options during my layover at LAX. I told the woman working the front counter that I had Celiac disease. She let me know cross-contamination could occur, and I told her I understood (unless my food is dropped in flour or malt, I tend to be okay with cross-contamination). I then asked her about the fries: if they had a coating and if they were also gluten-free. The woman assured me the fries were gluten-free, and so I ordered them. Since she had seemed aware of the risks of cross-contamination, I assumed she would be knowledgeable about the fries. The french fries at BLD *DO* contain gluten, and I became very ill, very quickly. To be fair, I noticed the fries had a coating when I opened my container and said to my partner: "I wonder what they use for the coating since they're gluten-free." I should've found the coating suspicious, but I trusted the information I was given because I specifically asked about the fry coating and possibility of fry gluten. Feeling like your stomach is being stabbed and then becoming very ill when you have a 3 hour flight ahead of you is a horrible experience. And it was an experience that could've been completely avoided had I not been given wrong information about allergens that trigger my medical condition. If you are Celiac, maybe see if there is somewhere else to eat. If not and it's your only option, do NOT eat the fries.
Terrible service stay away from this place in my opinion! They need a better restaurant here Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s
Soyrizo burrito states pico de gallo. No pico. I’m on my flight and it still hasn’t come yet!!!!!! Ayyye
Ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it was horrible. Chicken was so hard and tasteless. They just put 2 chicken tenders on a bun with cole slaw in it that’s all.Fries were salty.
Terrible and overpriced. I ordered eggs over easy, and they came out overcooked until the yolks were green and dry.
Friendly staff, with great food.
