The Blarney Stone is great!!! I had Ryan as my bartender, and whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, he makes you feel right at home. This pub is absolutely a standout- highly recommend!
Fantastic pub with fantastic people : Marine Michael, Damian ,Betsy, Ryan, Will, & the customers are every bit as cool ! I'm a U.S. Navy vet & half Irish , been to " a couple" bars this is one of the best. In San Diego , I say it's # 1 ...on a scale of 1 - 10 I give it a 12 ! ☘️ Parking: Plenty of of parking , safe & friendly , people here look out for each other I feel safe here all the time
Check the schedule for live music, then go see The Fooks, live! Parking: Large lot Kid-friendliness: Do NOT bring children here. What are you even thinking. No.
Blarney Stone may be somewhat obscure and tucked away behind Vons, but isn’t that exactly where you’d expect to find the most hidden of all hidden gems!? Equipped with an eccentric and personable bar staff, heavy handed drinks, massive private parking area, a small stage for live entertainment, an outdoor smoking area and indoor TV’s playing live sporting events, movies (even Rick and Morty), this bloody diamond in the rough is a must see for all!
Gabriel, our bartender, was very handsome and attentive. I'm so happy this place was opened on Xmas caz not all folks celebrate the day. Blarney Stone will be open on New Year's and I believe Gabriel will be on duty! I had the Irish fries and my friend ordered from the Thai restaurant which takes orders.from.the bar.
Came here with my wife and her friend around 20:45 on a Saturday. It was busy and most seating were full. We were able to get a table after a couple left. The security doorman did not slack with checking IDs much. You can tell who the regulars are at this pub. There was a live band playing, which they were decent and covered songs. They had good energy and interacted with the crowd and regulars. The bartenders were quick with getting orders together. There are just drinks to order; no food to order. The security doorman was too eager to clear tables of (nearly) empty glasses. My wife had a few more sips in one glass but was cleared before she could finish it. There are gendered bathrooms, which the men's bathroom was small and maintained. I would come back if a friend wanted to, but it wouldn't be a high choice for me.
Best spot in the area for a reasonably priced drink in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. I must admit, I’ve never been let down by a local Irish pub, but this one might even be a little extra special ;) Will and Ryan were awesome, as were the patrons. Highly recommend
Sour smell at the Bar and bathroom that smells like piss
