Came here on a friend 's recommendation and really enjoyed it. Very nice interior w/ dim candlelit lighting. The big sell for me was their heated patio that allows your furry friends. So we were able to take our dog out with us to celebrate Christmas Eve. Service was great. They have a huge wine list with limited amount of craft beers. We had the Hangar Steak and the Penne Bolognese, both of which were great.
We are so lucky to have a restaurant like Blair’s in the neighborhood. It’s a regular. The meatballs and polenta are such a nice way to start. The creaminess of the polenta balance the tangibles of the red sauce. The market salad is also great. They make their own ranch in house and serve the salad with thinly sliced pickles. The lettuce is a great mix of market fresh greens with great crunch and color. It really pops in your mouth. We always try to get a pizza. I think it could be the best in LA. We have tried many other places and just always come back to Blair’s. It’s Sicilian style so much thicker than the Neapolitan style. It’s just the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy.
Best polenta I’ve ever had in my entire life!
Genuinely one of the best restaurants in ER. It feels a little underrated, and I hope more people go because it’ll be a huge loss to the neighborhood if it closes! Fantastic mains (some of the best Italian pasta in LA), great wine selection, really helpful staff, and a beautiful, calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for families as well.
The location was quaint. The food selection was limited but excellent. Service was wonderful. Would definitely go again. Parking: Not familiar with the neighborhood but my friend knew where to look. It was a bit easier since it was Sunday night.
