I asked for a specific cinnamon that i pointed to but the lady gave me a deformed one from the back. The pastry was dry and not delicious. We tried the pecan cinnamon roll and normal. Both are very dry and hard . They also didn’t have a good variety. Will not be coming back for any pastries
I wish I could keep this place a secret, but I want them to do well! My husband and I would drive to their Costa Mesa location for a treat. They have good coffee, delicious sandwiches, and all their desserts are way too good. I hope San Diego treats them right, cuz these are my people!
You're trash. Worst bakery in the North Park area.
Slow mornings are best here. Really cute outdoor garden with comfy seating. Really good croissants. My only complaint is the iffy WiFi.
Kouign-Amann was over cooked but still yummy. They did not know how to make a macchiato (put caramel in it for some reason... and way too much foam) and did not ask if eating here or take out, they assumed take away. Macchiato served in a paper cup is rather disappointing even if made properly. Slow to get my drink made even though not busy. Neat vibe and nice outdoor seating. Not bad not great.
This place just isn’t what it used to be. Last time my friend and I came, 2 of our drinks never made it out and even when they re made them they came out completely wrong. They gave us “a free cookie on us” card to make up for it. Today we went in for that free cookie and made an order. My matcha came out chunky and when you pay $10 for it, there’s way better options for that in normal heights and north park nowadays. They have a beautiful outdoor back patio but it doesn’t make up for the so so service and so so drinks. There are outlets in the inside for laptops but it always runs so hot because they are baking. One item that they have truly executed is the handmade berry pop-tart.
I got a deli sandwich and OH my gosh it was delicious. I will be back very soon
