Blackbird Doughnuts-South End

Hands down best doughnuts in Boston. Love the vanilla glazed and seasonal options including cookie dough. Highly recommend this. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is noted. Parking: Parking is challenging at this location.

Donuts are good, but they always smash the top of the donuts with paper, so if it's a topping dependant donut, it gets peeled off, and then it's just a plain donut. Ordered a half dozen, which wasn't cheap, and they came all jammed and smashed in a little box and couldn't tell what was what.

The donuts were mediocre and there was not a single table or chair to sit at. Had to sit out in the freezing cold to eat my strawberry jam donut and I don't even like strawberry jam. Don't know why I did that to myself #slay

We went here before heading back to nyc while waiting for our train arriving in 2hrs so we walked all the way here from backbay station which is 13mins walk at it was raining pretty hard. When we arrived here,the place was quite and 2 person behind my partner who was buying the donut boston cream for a Souvenir back in nyc. It was raining pretty hard and the guy in the counter who took the order has no initiative to out the donuts on a box. We ordered 3pcs of donuts and he just put in a paper bag. Take note it was raining pretty hard,they have a lot of boxes and yet the donut was being placed in a paper bag. Anyhow the donut is good btw.

I want to give the BIGGEST shoutout to Paige who is an AMAZING manager at Blackbird donuts. I wanted to buy donuts for my girlfriend after work so I called to order. I realized by the time I would get to the donut shop the donuts my girlfriend wants would most likely be gone. Paige was very kind, patient and offered different options for me to get these donuts for my girlfriend. She allowed me to order the donuts over the phone and have them reserved for me so when I get to the shop they would be packaged in a container waiting for me. My girlfriend was so excited to get these donuts and she wholeheartedly enjoyed them. Paige has honestly given me one of the best customer service experience ever. Thank you again to Paige and to Blackbird donuts for having awesome donuts and even better customer service. I'm going back!

Das Personal war freundlich. Doch die Donuts haben mir nicht so gefallen. Der Psl war mir zu trocken und hat nicht nach Kürbis geschmeckt. Der pumpkin cake war besser er schmeckte wenigstens nach den Gewürzen. Sitzen könnt man auch nicht im Laden

The doughnuts here are a little dry, but taste good. The filling in the Boston cream doughnut is great.
