Black Walnut Café

I have been here before but several years ago. The food I had was not worth the price paid at all. It was disappointing that the food quality has gone down, perhaps they changed food suppliers ? Not worth going back to.

Love it, great food Vegetarian options: I always get their veg pasta. They have a couple other things too, but mainly we come for the gelato ;)

We walk in and were not sure how it works. We had to ask the person sweeping what to do... The assumption is go to the counter, order, then seat yourself, they bring out the food to you but drinks are self serve, all at premium price. Entering for a first time customer is a bit confusing. Maybe due to the bar and atmosphere it seems like you would be seated, The food is excellent, the lobster pasta had a zing to it. The crescent sandwich was buttery and crispy. All the baked goods were great. I considered going back for dinner the same day for more lobster pasta!

I got the chef’s breakfast and it was AMAZING!!! The drink was 10/10!! It was the Ruby Red Grapefruit Martini!! Everytime I come they never disappoint!!

First time dining at Black Walnut Cafe. It was busy (as it was Easter), but there were plenty of seats. This is a “seat yourself” establishment, which is not really clear until until you walk into the restaurant. Once my party walked in, there was plenty of choice seating. The servers were professional and friendly and the food was good. The portion sizes were just right, but the gluten free pancakes were a little dry (even with syrup). The kids gluten free cheese burger and fries were good as was the Mac and cheese and grilled chicken. The experience was pleasant and we will definitely visit again. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options. Kid-friendliness: Good portion sizes for kids!

Fantastic! First time here, came for breakfast. Everything was delicious and the service top notch. I ordered the croissanwich with fruit. Coffee was yum!
