This is definitely a FUN dinner experience where you get to cook your own steak on a heated rock. The food is great and the service was terrific. Will definitely be going back!

If anyone gives this place 4 or more stars, they lied. The service and food sucked, the manager was rude and we had to wait over an hour or two to get served. We won't ever come back here again, I mean the manager that was in charge seemed a little on the racist side. Then he tried to charge us $1500 for a back room we had already reserved, but couldn't get it because other people were there. Why should we have to pay $1500 for a room? That doesn't make sense at all, we weren't aware of paying $1500. The service was very, very, bad. They got our checks messed up and each time they rewrote the check, a gratuity came out of it, damn we gotta pay a gratuity every time y'all mess up. I was told that there weren't any baked potatoes but then witnessed other people getting baked potatoes. Instead, the server tries to bring me mashed potatoes, Don't ever eat here it's not worth the money or time. And whatever you do, don't book the back room. The manager is going to charge $1500, also they tried to serve spoiled chicken tenders to the kids. Where is the health department when you need

We are not steak people but we love coming here. The pretzel appetizer comes with cheese and a creamy garlic dip that is set on top of a hot stone and is very delicious! I didnt take pics of others plates but we also had the chicken tortilla soup and clam chowder, both very good! I did get a caesar salad but I didnt care too much for the dressing, was a bit vinegary for me. I ordered the black rock chicken and it came with mashed potatoes and 2 sprigs of asparagus. I truly enjoyed every bite. The portion size was enough for me to eat half and have the other half as a late night snack. We usually go to their website and get added to the waitlist before we go, especially on the weekend. Had a longer than normal wait because they had 2 large parties before us. Once we were seated, we were waited on almost immediately.

Greg from Jersey is great. 3 huge appies & 4 drinks for $40, hard to beat. Have to find time to come back for a steak.

Good food and atmosphere

A lot of money for small portions I have to cook myself. I get the experience of it, but the portions were small for the price (ribeye was very small and didn’t include any of the flap meat), and my wife’s steak was over cooked by the time they demonstrated the process and passed all the food out. Didn’t include the $10 upcharge for the soups that were “included” as a side option. My wife said the women’s bathroom was so disgusting that she’d rather use one of the downtown bars on Saturday night. Serivce personnel were very nice and accommodating. We thought it was odd the parking lot was empty on a Saturday night but now I know why. Bill was $200 and I got less value than at a Texas steak chain Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was good and they were nice with the kids

We first started eating at black Rock in Michigan. The food and cut of meat are incredible! It's great to see the black rock standards are the same here in Florida!
