Black & Blue

All I can say is Taco Tuesday has some of the best music you are going to hear anywhere on earth. Bob on bass and vocals, and any possible combination of musicians from there. John Kimock is on drums many nights. We just had Justin Mazer sitting in. Josh K on guitar and vocals just delivering the jam. This guy can play anything and everything on the spot! This is an epic night of songs and jams. Try the "Chicken Burger" or Tacos. They also have true Vegan and Vegetarian Feed. Tip the band too. Support this incredible music.

This is a cool little atmospheric spot with pretty good food. They have an old out of tune piano and they let my prodigy grandson play a bit. A neat place to cozy up to the bar. No free soda refills and pricy desserts.

Awesome find but the parking can be a bit rough

I would give zero stars if I could. The food was horrid. I got the grilled cheese and fries. The “grilled” cheese was just soggy un-toasted bread covered in grease with absolutely tasteless cheese. Inedible. The fries were a soggy greasy mess. My son got a burger and that wasn’t good. My daughter got empanadas and they were greasy and had a piece of metal in! The metal was actually cooked into the fold , I’m glad she noticed it before eating it! For $61 bucks you would think the food would be at least edible. STAY AWAY, save your money and eat somewhere else!!!!!

Vegetarian options: I had a vegan blackened steak - it was excellent. The wings were amazing too. There were so many amazingly good looking options - will definitely go back!

Went here to have a couple of beers and see Deal play some dead tunes last Tuesday. Good beer, a few local choices from Weyerbacher on tap. Taco Tuesday, 2 for 5. Very nice, old downtown place, with stunning architectural elements, great design, dim lighting, and hand-carved wooden furniture. This type of place is the reason I live around here. True staples of the community, and so happy to support.

To be honest, the bartender Kevin is who really made the experience for us. He was everything you want and nothing you don't want in a good bartender! Mainly went for the vegan options as there were PLENTY to choose from. The asparagus fries are delicious, you just have to add your own salt. The Pallea that comes with shrimp, chicken, steak and chorizo was a great portion, well seasoned rice and the meat was not overcooked at all. The meat was bland, I think they were relying on the rice for the flavor but it was still very good. There was good music playing, mainly Spanish music but there was a group of Spanish people having a private bday party so idk if it was for them or that's what normally plays. I'm not Spanish but the music and vibe was still very good. Place was clean as well. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of the food.
