Black Bear Diner Harker Heights

A lot of food for a low price! Was really good too! Had the Denver omlette. Only complaint was the room was rather crowded. Wheelchair accessibility: Brother in law was able to eat here and requires the use of a wheel chair.

The food tasted good, but the kitchen always took too long. The waitress was friendly and so were the other staff members.

Well we use to love this place when it was newly open, but the past few times I’ve been disappointed and annoyed. Especially today. My father has very bad knees so we always request a table not a booth, we had a long wait which was fine but after we finally get called and they walk us to a booth and they said it’s all they have. We were already getting annoyed so we sat down but my father was not comfy. Then we asked for juice thinking we were getting the fresh juice and turns out it was sunny d. Not what we wanted. Then we ordered coffee and they said they didn’t have mugs so they gave us to go cups. So one thing after another we told them we were unhappy with everything and they said “okay” and we paid our bill in full and didn’t even get an apology. So much for going there again.

Save yourself the time and don’t go here. Dirty, long waits, the staff is angry with the world. Our first and last experience with Black Bear, we had high hopes.

If your hopeing to place your order over the phone goodnluck I'm here at 6am and was blantly watching the wait staff ignore the phone. Mine you I had tried calling 5 times before showing up to place my order to go. Their online website is trash so we couldn't order online that way. I'm not one for negative reviews but their is either an understaffed issue or a lack of care.

Trinidad was kind. I’ll ask for her the next time we eat there.
