Black Bear Diner Great Falls

Food was good, unfortunately service was a little slow.

My Husband and I loved the place so much that We came back anytime We could, and the meals were reasonably priced. We just heard tonight that They are closing and that makes Us sad cause finding a place where we could afford and enjoy dining out isn't easy.

By far the worst service I've had any where. It took 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. And then another 20 for her to come get the order. An hour for our food to come. And my husbands order was wrong. The diner was dead, as she had 1 other table. She was behind the counter hugging the dishwasher while he brushed his hair. By far the grossest thing I've witnessed. The atmosphere was cute and has a lot of potential but I wouldn't recommend until they get new owners and employees.

The food was good but we waited an hour while nobody was there but they did take off some money off the bill for our wait.

It was a great place to eat but shortly after we ate their it closed down.

Went in to have dinner with my boyfriend and was really disappointed. The places is gorgeous and clean, but the service is awful. We were the only table in the restaurant and once our food was delivered our waitress was no where in sight. Not once were we asked how our meal was or if we needed refills. We were able to finish our meals and sit for another 10 minutes before even seeing someone (who wasn’t even our waitress) before getting our bill. It was to the point we were gonna slap cash on the table and leave. Won’t be going back.

Had lunch there yesterday afternoon and was terrible, 2 people working (not near enough) service was ok but ordered a chicken avocado club and the chicken was raw, not under cooked but raw. Can't believe I didn't get sick, ate breakfast there before but never again.

If I could give it a zero, I would. We stood at the" wait to be seated " sign for at least 10 minutes. We were FINALLY seated , and sat at a table with a paper placemat for another 20 minutes while being ignored. The resteraunt had maybe 8 tables, 4 other groups came in after us. They were served water and orders taken. The waitress looked at me several times, while we patiently sat and waited. There were several people working, one of the staff preferred to visit with his girlfriend 2 tables back from us, we were ignored. My friend was black, is that why? We were clean , well mannered, and waiting quietly. I am thoroughly discusted. We silently got up and left. We met a man who had come for a meal after driving 1200 miles. He had had the prime rib special, said it was terrible. We dodged a bullet I guess. But it has been years/ if at all , when I have been shown such disrespect. Every other place in Great falls has been wonderful. I suggest you try one of those. Sincerely.
