Love the team at this BJ's everyone is friendly and provide great customer service. They also have yummy samples.

So there was an enormous long gas line, I waited over 30 minutes. I bought a card last month. Went to use the card and it told at Pump he says your membership is expired, he followed me to the car, instead of just scanning the membership and assisting me as a customer to get gas, forced me. Tr y dig up a membership and said when you find it you know where to find me and went back in his office. A tthis time i decided id locate my email of purchase, while dong this customer behind was rude impatient came approaching me as another customer telling me to handle business elsewhere cause the waited to, obviously this is rude and cold of prevented, once email was shown the employee only then did he scan his card t get m gas, he then abruptly stated to next time take a picture of my card and went back in his office. Eh ever was working today 4/1424 around 3:30 to 4:00 pm

Their customer service used to be top notch. Lately, not so much. They twice sent me ten dollar off coupons, which didn't apply to my bill either time. The second time I engaged them to try to figure out why that kept happening. It took so long trying to deal with them that my membership expired. Then they were like, we can't talk to you anymore about this until you renew your membership. That's not likely to ever happen. I have a Sam's club membership and the manager of that store has gone to great lengths to assist me whenever I have a problem there. I think I'll shop where I feel like a valued customer.

They have everything one needs in a membership big box store.

We purchased several items, and 2 weeks later, it went down in price. So we asked for a price adjustment. The only way for them to do that was that we have to go back home and bring back the items. This makes NO FKING logical sense since the items are still in stock. When we could have purchased the item at the lower price and use the old receipt to return it, which would create more work for them.....so we explained to the customer service representative (Denise). But it does not appear to sink in her head. So we bought the items and return them against the old receipts. Now come Desiree (a.k.a Team Lead). It only gets worse.....her logic and debating skill is close to none! Overall, customers' service is terrible. They're resistive in accommodating customers. Using Desiree as proof that this level of customer service skill must be allowed by someone at the management's level. On another note, the computer systems (database) is a nightmare when come to track down a previous purchase. It's like dealing with a 15 yrs old technology where everything must be manually searched and linked together. I will cancel BJ's membership and walk over to Costco or drive to SAM's club. I hope someone from BJ'S corporate reads the comment and improves the overall customer's experience.
