Ok, I was at this BJS today, and my dad needed help with the self-checkout. And he was calling a lady out for help, and she wasn’t helping at all. Most of the employees are slow and have terrible customer service; I don’t understand why they are working on customer service if they don’t know how to help people; it is unbelievable.

Yes the prices have gone up so if you getting 10 items it’s going to cost 200$ 2023 the King Arthur flour was 10.79 now it’s 13.99. I only go cause I need certain things in bulk

I love this BJ's...it is better to buy in bulk. My husband doesn't rush me cause I can always find him in the candy aisle. He loves his M&Ms with peanuts. Don't forget to use the coupons from their booklet. BJ's the #1 place for the best deals...

The prices have gone up on various products. There are coupons for other products. Some products they don't sell anymore. Depends on cashier on shift today cashier said this one time she will scan the items in cart they don't scan in cart items anymore. Last few times I went to bjs whole sale cashiers said to leave items in cart to scan. Local shopping like shoprite, stop and shop, foodtown sometimes have better deals.

Pitifully understaffed. Love the deli counter, but very slow. Escalators perpetually out of order.

The only reason why I use this store is because it’s close to my house. I only go there to pick up emergency items. I’d rather drive to Costco to shop. Every time I have gone there I have had to wait for the one working elevator . Very frustrating.

My experience with an employee at 3 p.m. did not help me, even though my right foot suffers and it has a bacteria suction device installed. I asked her for help. I cannot stand on my feet much. She insisted on me going to stand on the floor.

>>2024 WARNING 1) Has everybody noticed BJ's has been raising their prices so much that now it's equal to or past your local supermarket prices? This is why 90% of BJ's stock item expiration dates are approximately 2 to 3 weeks, customers are shopping less there. Supermarket regular stock item expiration dates are about a month or more due to customers shopping there more often. Do the research yourself and do a comparison. Word of advice to BJ's Management, apparently according to your reviews the majority are complaining about your expiration dates too, therefore lower your prices by 30% if the expiration date is less than two weeks. 2) BJ's will NOT let you buy more than one item if it's on sale. Costco, Sam's Clubs, Walmarts, Target, and other Supermarkets let you buy more than one item if it's on sale, therefore BJ's sucks. 3) BJ's to this date treats us customers like Senior Citizens, making us use their booklet discount coupons and wasting our time online searching for coupons instead of having their discount automated at the register just like they do in Costco, Sam's Club, and all Supermarkets.

Trying to enter and leave this place is such a hassle as there's always at least one elevator not working and all three escalators are almost always out of service. When arriving at the club level, sometimes there are no shopping carts. You can either wait a while until they bring some down or go back up to the parking lot to look for one and come back down again. Lines can stretch all the way to the back of the store when trying to checkout. This used to be a convenient place to shop when it first opened, since then it's gone downhill. It's to the point that I'd rather drive 30 minutes away to shop at another club than come over here.

Shopping at this club is okay but escalators NEVER work. And usually the elevators have problems. Today the parking lot door into the store was blocked off so the only way in was the single elevator as all others were out of service. Therefore the backlog trying to exit the store was ridiculously long as everything is out of order. BJs management has allowed these conditions to exist for years. Whenever possible I use another, more distant, location.
