Bittersweet Bakery

We were looking for a bakery to handle our wedding. Nobody would talk to us about it in store. They said we had to go online. So I went online to request an appointment for decoration and tasting and nobody will respond to the emails. I received one email back asking if I had any ideas in mind and days have passed with no response. That is completely unprofessional and disrespectful especially for someone trying to plan their wedding.

We knew from our first step into their cute shop, we would be so happy to work with Bittersweet Bakery for our wedding cake and dessert table. Their design was exactly what we wanted and the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing, along with the cookies and brownies. I just wished we lived closer to this bakery, because we would definitely be repeat customers for every occasion.

We met with Bittersweet and ordered a three tier cake for our wedding. They were great to work with and designed the cake perfectly. The day of we ended up asking them to deliver it a couple hours earlier than originally thought, and they were so flexible and kind about it! The cake itself was delicious, and our guests raved about it. We got snickerdoodle and champagne cake and oh my goodness! Usually couples have quite a bit of leftover cake after the wedding, but not us! Our guests loved it so much that we only had a few slices left. Highly recommend ordering a cake from Bittersweet for your event!

20/5 stars. Cutest little shop, amazing customer service, and I will happily skip dinner for the next 3 days to eat these sweets. Ordered a simple cake smash cake for my son, and also decided to snag some of their Christmas goodies while I was picking it up and they’re pure bliss! *chefs kiss*

The birthday cake they made for my sons first birthday was PERFECT! It tasted as amazing as it looked. We also got some other little goodies when we picked the cake up, the brownie was THE BEST. Will definitely be back!

This bakery is the BOMB. Wish I lived in Waxahachie just so I could make frequent visits. I had my sister in law pick up one of their birthday cakes to bring to my daughters bday in Keller. I asked for the drip color to be “Barbie” pink and they nailed it.

Very impressed with Bittersweet Bakery! Communication and submitting my order request was so easy. End results were bee-utiful! I was blown away when we opened the box to see the finished product. Not only did it look great, it tasted wonderful as well. I got the lemon and it was the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. Buttercream frosting was delicious as well. HIghly recommend! I almost missed getting a picture before it was cut, so the medallion was already moved...but as you can see, it still looks perfect.

Such a beautiful bakery! We bought cupcakes and a Cookiemonster and the really nice lady gave us another Brownie top try. It was delicious and the prices are really fair. I recommend every visitor of Waxahachie to go there.

Bittersweet Bakery makes all of our occasions special! This year, they created three special cakes that were perfect for each of our girls. I get asked all the time where our desserts come from, and I am always so happy to recommend Bittersweet Bakery! Everything is so beautiful and even more delicious!
