BITE BREAKFAST & TAPAS

Terrible service. Waited over an hour for our food. The place was empty and the table that came in before us left after an hour and they still didn’t have their food. If a restaurant can’t serve more than two tables at a time and get food on the table in under an hour than they shouldn’t be open. Our waitress didn’t greet us for almost 15 mins. She never checked on us after we ordered. She brought out food for 1 of 4 of us after 50 mins with no explanation as to why the other food still wasn’t ready. It was an overall bad experience and the food was just ok. Not worth the wait.

After blood work at Quest in Von Plaza - Athem, we went in pursuit of coffee and breakfast. We found Bites, a rather new breakfast and lunch establishment next door to Rebellion Pizza. What a find! Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm, embracing atmosphere of leather chairs and tables, as well as a cozy couch area for a larger party. I ordered the French toast and hubby ordered the Florentino omelet. Food is prepared to order so, if you want something quick, this might not work for you. We enjoyed the time to chat and drink the excellent coffee while our food was prepared. When it comes to French toast, I am extremely fussy. This was fabulous - crispy without losing the center moistness; the fig infused compound butter was superb; and it was served with real maple syrup. The Florentino omelet was made with egg whites and was nice and fluffy. This is a small, local owned business well worth the community support. So if you are in the Von Plaza area, and are hungry for breakfast or lunch, give Bites a try. Chef Sam will amaze you.

We saw that this place opened recently and wanted to try it out. While the menu was limited, the food was amazing. You can really taste the quality. We ordered the waffles to start and they were AMAZING... actually they were unreal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THE WAFFLES. My wife had the two egg breakfast and I had the eggs benedict. Like I said before, the quality was immediately apparent. It was perfect portions and very tasty. There are other breakfast spots that will have an extensive menu or provide large portions... this isn't that place. They focus on a core menu and they do it well. Go here, you won't regret it.

Great food great service

Newly brunch spot in Henderson. Really good place for breakfast and brunch food. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The food here is exceptional. The Croque Madame is really good. I also order a Caprese burrata which is very refreshing.

We came here for lunch and got the tomato bisque and French onion soup, caprese with burrata, and split a croque madame. Everything was delicious!
