This place is a hidden gem inside of John's Supermarket. They have an awesome menu and even better daily selections on their hot line. I've never had a bad thing. I make sure to stop by anytime I'm in the area.

Have heard about Bistro South...my first visit today with a friend. Nice place inside the market. Especially known for their hamburger, but many other choices. Also, a buffet of meat and veggies. Order first and they bring it to your table. Super nice employees. Very clean.

A fantastic eatery hidden away inside a local supermarket. Food was fresh and made with good ingredients. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the eating area was very clean and had a really nice feel to it. The spicy pimento cheese burger was excellent, the loaded potato salad was also very tasty. Food was well seasoned and served hot and in a timely fashion. I grabbed a pastry on the way out which was also top notch. Will absolutely be returning when I'm in the area.

Tasty fried pork chops, collards, beans, cornbread and tea. Enough pork chop for another meal

We love Bistro South. My office team goes there about once a week for lunch. The portions are great and the food hits the spot. I’m glad we found this place!

My favorite spot for a quick and delicious meal in Monroe! Their creamed corn is the BEST I have ever had and their chicken wrap is delicious. I love that they are regularly testing out new sides and menu items. The staff is friendly, the space is always clean, and the service is quick.

The peppercorn steakhouse burger is hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. 10/10

Absolutely phenomenal! I still have dreams about their fried chicken. Make sure you get there early enough to get a biscuit (then put some of the chicken in the biscuit if you’re feelin wild)
