Baby and stroller friendly, though at first you might think it's not. A nice shortbread with tea..But watch out for wedding parties who may take over the place.
We popped in here for an afternoon coffee. It's a lovely place, just off Newcastle quayside. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere whilst having a coffee.
Visited for restaurant week which is always a risky choice. Staff took us to the wrong table and the waiter was slow, having to remind him of what we had ordered and get one dish corrected in terms of its sides. Prawns to start and the Black Forest moose to finish were both fabulous although the supplement for the prawns wasn’t clearly indicated. Unfortunately the main course was average at best, the Normandy chicken turned out to be a standard chicken breast with a few French fires, a meal anyone could easily cook at home for a lot less. This significantly let down a promising starter and excellent dessert in an Enjoyable and refined dining room
