Bistro Boudin is a large open seating eatery that makes good chowder and fresh bread. Being from Oregon we weren't super impressed by the chowder. But the fresh bread was bery tasty. The service here was fast and friendly. The coolest part about Boudin is the overhead bread baskets that move around the inside perimeter of the restaurant. We came on a weekday and it was super busy. The food came out quickly though. I think the corn in the chowder takes away from the overall flavor of the soup. Definitely worth checking out. Especially if you go to Ripleys or the Wax Museum because they are right across the street. Kid-friendliness: They have bread made into bears and other animals
Stopped in for coffee and pastries. Pricey for what it was but tasty non the less.
Fabulous food and superb San Francisco sourdough, with relatively good prices for large portions of food in a high tourist area. Wait staff were amazing. Food quality was excellent and freshness was very apparent.
Delicious food - had the clam chowder in a bread bowl, and my husband had chilli in a bread bowl, and both were amazing and reasonably priced.
