Biryani Hut

In the mood for biriyani? Great. Don't go here. We unfortunately ordered a chicken biriyani to go last evening from here based on a recommendation from a friend who catered their Eid dawaat from Biriyani Hut. Never again. There might have been three batches of leftover rice in the 'large' pack and topped with bottom of the barrel scraping of rice to top it off. We asked for a mild version and of course since it took effort to scratch the bottom the overdone spices came along. A 20 minute drive later the food went straight into the trash because no matter what we couldn't toss in any way to mix the spices evenly and not cut the heat with the yogurt (which again was hot) to redeem any of the serving. Our neighbor is going to get an earful for his recommendation and we are not going to venture by the Hut for another attempt. Quite the let down. Oh, most importantly, it didn't remotely taste like anything you would call a biriyani. Parking: There's a lot of parking available around the restaurant.

Update: unfortunately Biryani Hut is under new ownership since I originally reviewed. The service was still amazing, our server(a young lady) took excellent care of us. Unfortunately, the portions are now much smaller, the prices higher, and the flavor is lacking. I was unable to take more than two sips of the chai, the flavor was unbearable. I am sad to say, one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area is no more. I’ll let you know if I find another!! Original post: If you’re looking for amazing Indian cuisine, look no further! Our server Mani took amazing care of us and everything was cooked to perfection. As someone that has been to southern India and enjoyed the cuisine, I can tell you this food is authentic in taste and quality. We will definitely return!

Food was all fresh and had authentic Pakistani taste. We went for Iftaar Buffet and were very happy with the food (kheer, fish fry, malai boti, tandoori chicken, haleem, chutneys, poori, cholay, list goes on…)!!

Went in on a Thursday for the buffet during Ramadan and every item in the buffet was made to perfection. It might’ve been the best Pakistani/Indian food I have ever tried. I spoke with the owner and thanked him for the meal and found out he took over the previous Biriyani hut recently. The food before was good, but after the new owner took over all the food became excellent. He also stated that any orders to go he will adjust the spice level to what the customer wants. I ended up trying all the items in the buffet just because of how good the items I usually like were and every item tasted authentic and amazing. Will definitely be eating there more often and will be my first choice when wanting Pakistani/Indian food. On top of being the best in the area the pricing was extremely reasonable!!

I had gone to this place for buffet, but the food was just pathetic, Samosa was made with potato without any taste, choley was stale and smelly, Mutton curry was tasting like paneer curry, biriyani rice was hard , fish cutlet was hard , all in all it’s a complete waste of money and they also charge you for water bottle so I feel I wasted by 100 bucks on a very poor food. I would not recommend this place for Buffett or ala carta, they really don’t know how to cook food with basic taste.

The food was so good and servicing and staff are also awesome and now I have addicted to the food.

Just received a bowl of oil as my chicken tikka masala …. What??? In what world is this tikka masala? Never ordering here again.
