Very accommodating owner/manager who seated 4 of us with 2 babies at last minute notice on a busy saturday. We were very impressed, food was great. Would definitely come back.

Dietary restrictions: Excellent vegan options - homemade vegetable tartlet Sunday roast with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and delicious anooth gravy. Plus an excellent vegan mushroom cream sauce linguine alongside two meat eaters roast beef brisket melt in the mouth. Good value beer and wines and cocktails.

Great roasts, hearty portions and tasty food! And lots of vegan options. The waitress was lovely and really enjoyed our cocktails. Excellent! Vegetarian options: Lots of options, roasts, pasta etc Dietary restrictions: Gf and vegan options

We went for a family Sunday lunch here and I have to say the food was totally amazing. The service was out standing and we cannot wait to return. Anyone looking for a mouth watering beef Sunday lunch then this is your place and amazing cocktails too. My little girl loved the fact we were actually in the birdcage so it was a great family afternoon. Thank you to all for looking after us an see again soon.x

Lovely place with a warm and friendly welcome, which made birthday celebrations extra special. The food and service was great. Decor is quirky and charming, we really enjoyed our lunch!

We arrived on a quiet Sunday evening to be looked after by Simon , service was spot on and the food chef Ben prepared was superb , a little hidden gem which deserves to be a success .

If there were 6 stars for service we'd have given them. Nothing was too much trouble & the team made sure our celebration was really special. Food was freshly prepared & super tasty. So glad we found The Bird Cage & we will be back. Deserves more than the 4.6 stars it averages. Vegetarian options: Loads to go at. Don't be shy! Dietary restrictions: We had lactose intolerance, vegans, & keto diets and had no problems at all in enjoying really good food. Parking: A bit tricky bit we arrived in 4 cars and managed to get parked in easy walk. The wardens aren't especially evident.

Food is fantastic and the service is friendly and welcoming from the second you walk in. Definitely recommend. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu.
