Delightful little coffee/book shop with nice outdoor seating. I thoroughly enjoyed the lemon rosemary cookie.

Coffee is alright. I like that they are open later than other shops in the area. Charles Village really doesn't have enough good coffee spots.

Got coffee - a mocha - even though mocha wasn't on the menu. So, I'm not sure if it was a special order, or if you're just supposed to know. Sometimes I think coffee shops are deliberately confusing, because, once you learn all the secrets, feel like you are a special member of the esoteric society, and thus become a repeat customer. Anyway, it was good.

Great cafe... comfortable seating... Good WiFi, in case you wanna grab a coffee or breakfast and work.

Bird in Hand has been the hub of our first days getting settled in for a year at John’s Hopkins. The people staffing the cafe are friendly, professional, and fast. The atmosphere is great inside and out and the food, both for breakfast and lunch is great and reasonably priced. The drip and iced coffees are on the mark as well. So much better than the big chain shops! Books to browse and buy and plenty of plugs to hangout and get work done.
