Five stars for their food, their service, their drinks, and especially their bartender. However, being a local place with TVs, they should have DirecTV for local games. This isn’t a sports bar, but to have the 2 TVs have the local games would keep me there longer and it would bring me there more. We need that in Congress Park.

Just what the neighborhood needed. Great casual eatery. Family friendly, but still great for an adult outing. Lots of variety with vegetarian options. Highlights: Queso fundido, key lime pie.

Super nice servers and an interesting mix of Colorado favs. Tacos/mex, shrimp cocktail, burgers, wings, etc. The interior is a mild upgrade from Tag of previous but the same layout. We had a tough time with the menu, however. We couldn't get the sense if tacos or burgers were, "the thing". We opted for burgers because, well... hard to screw that up! The "B.O.M.B", was not horribly impressive. An added $1.50 for a garden burger made it an $18 burger vs my $15, "B.O.M.B". I'm not sure I understand all that. Not a lot of veg options. 2-burgers, a glass of wine and we walked away over $70.There seems to be a nice selection of tequila, a decent selection of beers and the pie case was reminiscent of an old school diner.Is it a bar, taco joint, burger place, diner? I'm not sure! Maybe all those things but I didn't get the sense that any of it would be, "the thing".I wish Billy's all the best but don't think we'll be returning anytime soon. Maybe back to Park Burger or burgers at Bastians (to die for). Even the double burger at Atomic Cowboy... Sorry, I had such high hope and was super excited for how quickly things turned from Tag. Still, we miss Tag's brussels and parm-truffle fries!

I always loved to stop by Billy's when I was over near Tennyson Street but now they're in our neighborhood! What a gem. Truly the nicest servers, great food and wonderful atmosphere. Super low key, welcoming and competent in every way. Thanks for bringing your restaurant to our part of town. My only worry is that it will become Chuckie Cheese. Please have a plan for children running wild as entitled parents have one too many margheritas and forget the restaurant is not their backyard...

Visited on opening weekend. Billy’s is such a welcome update - food, ambiance, service - from the predecessor (TAG). Good tap beers, nice wine, and a wild variety of tequila. Apps were yummy, both dishes we tried we great. Menu is extensive for a pub-cantina: tacos, burritos, sandos, burgers, salads, apps, and a PIE CASE for dessert. Prices are really reasonable for Denver too. Super welcome addition (replacement?) to Congress Park - Billy’s will go into our weekly rotation.
