If you know... No fries chips... no Pepsi coke... Not to mention n the curse. Explore the underground that is the original.
Chicago Cubs fan must stop for the cheezborger, chips and an Old Style in a plastic cup.
Not only is it a part of history, but also they know how to make really delicious cheeseburgers❤️
Cool place. Great food. Cheap and staff is cool.
I hate to do this, but this restaurant is not it. It's famous for history but nothing else. The sign over the counter says enter at your own risk. I wish I would have listen. Burger no fries, no plates of any kind, not even a basket. Your burger is served on a sheet of cooking paper. Salty and they were thin sliced patties. No condiments to put on your burger mustard, ketchup, etc. 7 minutes is all it took, and I had to get up out of there. Only stayed that long because the Bulls were playing, but they were losing to Dallas, so it didn't help. No hope in ever returning ever again.
This place is such a vibe.
My family and I were super excited to visit this iconic place, seeing it in media and just being one of the places to visit in Chicago. Unfortunately the food was terrible. The cheeseburger just looked like it was made with minimal effort. The bread was not toasted at all, the cheese was not melted, it honestly tasted like a school lunch. The bartender was nice and we had a couple shots of Mallort. But yeah maybe it was just this location but I wouldn’t recommend the food.
