OMG! This is my new place to go. We went to the Gun Range here. Then we went to the restaurant attached to it. Loved the entire experience. There was live music, drinks, food and great service. The food was EXCELLENT and most reasonably priced. I was truly happily surprised.

We really like this place. The food is amazing. We recommend the lamp chops and the pork osso buco. Service is great. We always sit at the bar. So far we have gone there between lunch and dinner time and it’s nice and quiet. Anybody who appreciates high quality dishes will love Big Shots ❤️

Wow. What happened to this place? Used to be an upscale sports bar atmosphere. Now they are trying to be a high end "South African" restaurant. That's fine, and I'm sure there is a place for that in the PTC restaurant scene. But despite the food being pretty good, the execution was horrible. Combine extra dim lighting with literally micro-font menu printing and it's virtually impossible to see or read much of the menu. Wait staff that we encountered were very young and seemed to have almost zero experience or training in proper customer service. Waitress was of very little help when asked about some of the dishes, which we had to ask about since the menu was printed with an 8 or 6pt font and the lighting was so dim. When asked what beers they had on tap she had no idea and had to go ask. She returned and said that all the beers on the drink specials clipboard that was on the table were drafts. So I ordered one. 5 minutes later I was told they were out of that. With the menu so hard to read and the waitress unable to offer any explanation or description of the unusual menu items, I simply opted for the $19 burger. It was tasty, cooked as ordered, and came with a generous portion of fries. But no condiments on the table or offered. Had to ask for them. About this time we discovered there were no silverware setups on our table. After the meal the check was brought. Not asked if we wanted anything else, can I interest you in dessert?, nothing. CC taken and returned with a quick "thanks". Owner/manager...not sure...working on a computer at a desk near the entrance upon leaving. Not a word. A very muted, almost under the breath "thanks" form the teenage looking "host" is all we were offered as we left. Won't be back. The place looks nice upon entry and the food was not bad. But at this price point they desperately need to either hire some competent wait staff or radically revamp their training of existing wait staff as it appears to be non-existent. One of those "restaurant rescues" shows could have a field day here. Came here because Ted's had a 90 minute waitlist. Was seated here with no wait. I now see why.

Food is fine but the menu is very deceptive. All dishes are 20-30 bucks range and the steaks are all market priced so no price available on the menu but you figure it’s gotta be in the vicinity of the other dishes. Had a ribeye that cost $80 dollars. That’s Ruth’s Chris prices but this is nothing like Ruth’s Chris. Be upfront about your prices if you call yourself “chophouse”

We went here for my birthday. I was a little worried when I saw that the parking lot wasn't busy and it was next to the shooting range. There was no need to worry because the food, service and atmosphere was so good! The sticky lamb ribs were phenomenal. I could have eaten several plates of them. For our entrees we got the Durban lamb curry & rice and the pork osso buco. Both of those were very tasty as well. The pork was cooked very well. It was nice and tender and falling off the bone. If you're a fan of Indian curry, you'll like the Durban lamb curry & rice. Very flavorful. I highly recommend giving Big Shots a try.
