I came along for the 3rd last week for an event/session and want to say Thank you again to the bar/catering staff. There were some slight delays on the session to start and one particular bar member was really helpful, informative and went above and beyond. It’s been a little while to see that and the service he provided. Venue is a great space, service and food.
Excellent but a little pricey. £2.50 for a bag of crisps is ridiculous sorry.
We had a great time. My friend and I came with our 2 children - ages 2-5 for Bounce. They all loved their hour for the Bounce session. Lots of variety of different bouncy castles. Then we all ate lunch in the main hall. Mums had wine and chips and kids shared chicken goujons and chips. Large space with lots of children around, everyone was happy :) We will def be coming back Kid-friendliness: Large space lots of room for kids.
Really easy afternoon with 3 small children - ages 2,4 and 7- bouncy castles followed by free rein with the table football. Quality chicken nuggets and chips too AND easily accessible toilets with enough space to bring the buggy in.
Great venue with a great vibe. We went to visit a craft fair and stayed longer for a bite to eat as it was lively and friendly
I’ve been to BPS a few times now. A couple of things stick out: the service (sometimes table service), venue and selection of beers are all great. The food, however, is mediocre — avoid the nachos. Having said that, it’s a fab location to watch the football, rugby and to pop into the bi-monthly crafts market. Plenty to do for all the family, including a selection of retro games machines and darts boards for small and big kids. A real hot spot for the Walthamstow community. Because of all the above, I would give it 4.5/5 — maybe bring your own food?
Love this place, chilled, great staff. The menu could probably do with few more options.
Don’t advertise “football screenings” if you’re going to blast 80s music while everybody at the bar is here to watch the game. Multiple people asked to put the match sound on but they declined for no apparent reason. Normally a great place to go for a beer, but not to watch sports.
