Big Lug Canteen

We love Big Lug! We are there quite often and food and service always spot on.

I've had the pleasure of calling this establishment my local watering hole for 7 years. The staff is accommodating and fun. The upstairs bartender, Jeff, is a great source of knowledge about breweries, distilleries, and wineries across the US. One of the main downstairs bartenders, Meghan, makes the best Irish Coffee that I've ever had. She won't steer you wrong on menu recommendations and on the weekly specials. Meghan also makes a killer Bloody Mary.

Great place, stopped in for a beer and snack. Had a very good fish taco at a great price.

I tried the Margherita pizza and Philly cheesesteak. The Philly was actually amazingly delicious. The pizza on the other hand was not good. The service was a little slow, but friendly. I probably would go back just for the Philly cheesesteak.

The first time I went it was mine blowing great food the next week i went it was horrible I had a 50/50 Burger the bacon was not done all the way they didn't put enough sauce on my burger it was way smaller than the one I had last time I came It had way more bread on my Burger it wasn't fix like my first one I got the fried cauliflower it wasn't good but that was my fault the brownie was pretty good I felt bad because I brought my nephew and his son and was bragging about the food they didn't like it either

You can’t go wrong with dinner at Big Lug. The menu is huge with options to suit every mood. But don’t miss the fried cheese curds and the spicy garlic cauliflower! I only wish they could add some alcohol-free beer to the lineup.
