I hate to leave bad reviews, especially since we enjoyed coming here the first couple of times- but unfortunately there was a cockroach that crawled onto our table as we were eating our meal. Please use caution, this is sincerely unacceptable for an establishment.

The service isn't fast but the character of the staff and the delicious food will leave you smiling all day. Vegan options available. I had the tofu Ranchero served with fried potatoes. Vegetarian options: Vegan options. Tofu scramble can be substituted for any egg dish. Soyrizo also available.

I didn't know that a place as wholesome and magical existed in San Diego. This place is both real and surreal. And my heart finally felt at home. Can't wait to come back again!

We went here for the first time today and it was such a wonderful and unique experience. The food was amazing, the owner was lovely, and the atmosphere was unlike any other.

Not sure what the hype is. We didn't even realize there were better breakfast places around this adorable old neighborhood. Service was okay, slow. Our food was mediocre at best. Coffee was lukewarm like our food and bland.

What a gem we found here! This place is great. Can I just say, the coffee was so good, it didn't need anything but itself. I drank it black it was so good! I had the huevos rancheros and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. Both amazing. It is very tiny so don't expect huge booths and such. But the flavors are huge! We truly enjoyed our meal and will be visiting again and again. Parking: It's hard to find a place to park but a little walk is worth it!
