I used to eat here and the food was decent went on 2/22/24 huge mistake food has gotten worse $30 wasted
Service was excellent. Food over priced and over cooked
Slow and sketchy kitchen, dirty
Don’t judge a book by its cover! Modest building but really great food
It is your typical take out place, has some seating to dine in. I was there around 10am, wanted to get lunch and food for later since I was traveling. Now before I start I've been to the other location on Old National this was just closer to where I was staying. The food had no flavor I ordered Smothered fried chicken because when I looked at the fried chicken wings I saw feathers and hairs still on the chicken...,collard greens were sweet, and again no other seasoning corn bread was like cake texture. Peach Cobler a no that's all I can say. My brother did say that the beef ribs were good, my Husband didnt enjoy his meal either. ,I do not like to give negative reviews but I couldn't keep this to myself. I didn't read reviews before I went so my fault if anything. Next time I'm in town I'll go back to the Old National location. I will say the 2 gentlemen serving were very kind and patient with us.
OMG!!!! This was the best home cooking, soul food, I've had in a long time it was so good. I wanted to have everything on the menu. They have all kinds of meats, all kinds of vegetables, and everything came with a piece of cornbread. The best kind of drinks are homemade lemonade with different flavors, strawberry peach, sour apple orange grape, you name it, you could think of ,oh Jesus, and cake for dessert. You even got enough food that you were able to eat the rest of the food for later on because you can't eat it in one sitting. Vegetarian options: Big Daddy's had green beans, collard greens, cabbage, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and onions, just about any vegetable you can think of they had it that day.
