Big City Bagels and Subs

The bagels are a bit dry and tough. The crumb is very breadlike and lacks chew. The service is great.

Update: Finally made it early enough for a bagel! I love this place! The pastrami egg and cheese on an everything with scallion cream cheese was absolutely delish. I love how much flavor everything here has and it's the perfect size for the price. You feel good about what you pay and you leave nice and full with a happy tummy too! Don't forget a side of Zapps chips and a Peace Tea to make your meal complete! Original: Really good sandwiches! Came in for a bagel but was too late in the day so they didn't have what I wanted. I'm actually glad this happened because I ended up getting the North Austin and it was super delicious! The staff is also very friendly. They keep the place clean and everything is simple. Prices are also reasonable. Thank you and can't wait to come back!

The Pastrami, Egg & Cheese bagel is so good. Full of egg and meat - my husband and I share one bagel! You need to try it!

Food was great price was great

After a minimum payment screen "encouraged tip", 2 bagels with smear came to over $13. The staff did not smile or greet me. Stark atmosphere. Bagels are ok.

For bagel sandwiches, this is the closest to NJ / NY you're likely to get in Austin. Got my usual, bacon egg cheese on everything... and I will certainly be back. It easily beats others I've had in the area, and at a better price. The bagel was just a bit tough, but I'm cool with that, and you will be, too.
