The overall experience was excellent. Great staff, very warm and welcoming. I tried a little of everything and it was all good. Di food nice and you must try the sorrel drink, amazing. If you are ever in the Bronks stop by, you won't regret it.
Went here twice great food but the staff are not wearing masks or gloves. I was very disappointed to see that in these times. The woman at the front who takes your order is not wearing a mask or gloves not a good idea or sanitary so that’s why there only given 1 star. I also went there today ordered a small and received a very tiny bowl of food instead of the regular size bowl they used to give me. If your going to give less food then charge less money . I paid for a small and received something in bowl that looked like a sample at Costco.
Food was really good. Recommend trying.
I am usually so pleased with this restaurant. Their presentations/meals have always been tip top till today. The so-called large oxtail dish had 9 pieces of oxtail, five of which were the thin end of the tail with little meat on it. The rest were the medium to small pieces. The rice was so bland and YUCK. It's like they ran out of spices or something. The red velvet cake was even worst, all dry nasty and stale. I am truly surprised and disappointed.
I drop by here for their jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat and JERK FRIED RICE, not just for me but for my young girls, too, even if we moved a few miles farther. They love this place. The staff are very pleasant, too. 🙂
I never had jamaican empanadas before but they were amazing. I live super far but will come back and order again.
