Not being dramatic here, but this place has one of the best flavored wonton soups I have ever had. Everything came out fresh and homemade. Their Lo Mein was so flavorful as well. It was quiet when we came in, but I don't think enough people even know about this place. Family owed and the service was great. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you for lunch!
It was okay. I LOVE Chinese food and this place looked really nice inside, the prices were a little higher than other Chinese restaurants. (Probably because of how fancy they were trying for.) But the food was bland. My family all got different plates and we taste tests each other's food everything was kinda plain. Not a lot of flavor and our fried rice was cold.
The employees there are very friendly & the interior is very nice & an excellent spot for lunch/dinner!
People working here seem chill, but the food, unfortunately, is awful. This is the third time I tried to redeem the restaurant but three times straight, every time I ordered food to go from here, the food was beyond salty, overcooked (I ordered potstickers here before and they were stale and burnt), and surprisingly flavorless. The soup's flavor can be described as what you would think really old peanuts taste like. The fried rice, the wonton soup, the potstickers and the lo main I ordered from here (the last three items were ordered previously in two different times), had absolutely no flavor, the meat has been chewy without a miss and the pot sticker dough was burnt, and stale again. I gave it three tries in hopes that maybe, if I ordered it in a different day of the week, a different week of the month on each instance, maybe the cook will chance and the food will be better, but dear God... never again. I feel sorry for the owners and the workers cause again, they seem chill, but I cannot recommend this place to any of my friends or to whoever is reading this review. There are plenty more Chinese restaurants in the area in a 5 mile radius that are most likely making better food.
Yes finally we found authentic Chinese food in Michiana! This will be our go to spot when we crave Chinese food. The crispy duck was amazing and the soups. Will definitely come back to try more items from their menu.
Noodles were decent. I should have got beef! The beef soup was amazing and is on an authentic Chinese menu! Boba (coconut) was oh my gooooodness so so good and flavorful. Waitress was super helpful and kind! My first time here and I will be back! Thank you Holly for being so kind! Not bad at all for $29! Yum! Will be back :)
The egg drop and hot and sour soups were good. My wife’s fried rice was very greasy and not a pleasant taste. She’s had much better at other restaurants. My lemon chicken had a mild lemon flavor and was served with white rice. It was average at best. This is definitely NOT an upscale bistro as advertised. It was plain tables with no decorations. The restaurant appeared clean.
Good Chinese food at a reasonable price. Has a nice dinning area. Service is excellent. This our go to spot for Chinese food.
