I've been a regular at B&GC since the week they opened 7 years ago, and I can confidently say they've only gotten better with time. This last visit was truly exceptional. Service: Micah and Mario were the absolute stars of the show. They were incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and true masters of their craft. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Cocktails: This was probably the best menu I've seen in their 7 years. Their on-menu cocktails were some of the best we've had in any upscale bar, but their expertise truly shone when we ventured off-menu for "bartender's choice" creations. Bespoke Cocktails: We opted for two bespoke cocktails: a key-lime pie and a sherry black Manhattan. Micah meticulously crafted each drink, asking specific questions to understand our preferences and ensure he was creating something unique and impressive. Key Lime Pie: Micah used his own lime cordial recipe to create this masterpiece, and even offered us an extra sip to appreciate the intensity of the flavor. Black Manhattan with Sherry: As we mentioned our upcoming trip to Spain, Micah shared his passion for sherry and how he incorporated it into our Manhattan. He truly elevated the classic cocktail with his knowledge and expertise. Overall Experience: This was some of the best time I've spent at a bar in years. Micah and Mario's genuine passion for cocktails and their dedication to crafting unique experiences for their guests truly set B&GC apart. Thank you for an unforgettable evening! I would love to leave a 5 star review as the cocktails and the service was great once we complained. However, I can only leave 3 stars because of one glaring drawback. My husband and I arrived at the same time as another couple. The hostesses looked at both couples and decided we'd be the ones seated at table "x". Come to find out that table was the only "table" in the corner of the bar next to the garbage can, check out station for waiters, and dirty cocktail glass return section of the bar. The "table" was two crates painted black and chairs low enough for our eyes to be butt-level with the waiters coming and going. It felt like everyone else was enjoying a big night out and we were in time-out. When we asked to change tables we were told the other tables were reserved. We also made reservations with deposits almost a week in advance. They did find us a table but or initial experience left a bad taste in our mouths... until of course we received and tasted our gorgeous cocktails. Please take away the time-out corner of your bar. I'd be surprised if it's helping your otherwise well reviewed and well-known business at all. Otherwise, best cocktails and the most friendly waiters .

Terrible experience. This place is so hard to find — yes, I know it’s a speakeasy. Had reservations and couldn’t find it. Tried calling, no answer. Show up 3 min late and are told our reservation has been given away. Insult to injury, we saw the party they gave our reservation to show up after we did. We showed that we’d been trying to contact and told “oh, you can’t call this number.” Make sure you show up on time to this club, boys and girls.

Awful experience and service

This place is really cool. It is a fun experience if you can get a reservation. They have a phone number listed that says they will get back to you if you text it and they never did, so don't count on that if you have questions. Drinks were fabulous and the bar tenders knew what they were talking about. It was fun and different, but very expensive, so just be ready for that. Parking: This area is tough to find parking in leave your self 20 minutes extra in general if you are coming to this area. Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all, you have to go down stairs to access this and I did not see an elevator.

I brought my mom and we had a great time

This is one of my fav bars in Denver: whether to meet up with an old girlfriend, out of town guests, or a drinking buddy. B&GC is SAF Cocktails are top notch Food is simple but delicious Very chill ambiance and discreet You have to contact them for a reservation but once they know you its easy Highly recommended

Make sure to make reservations. :( Managed reached out and was very cordial and explained how small the space was. I will edit review but do make sure to make reservations especially on weekend nights otherwise you will not get in.

Went for the first time last night on a Date Night with my beautiful wife. Place was awesome, the cool factor of having to walk down an alley ring a door bell and be lead into the bar itself was great. The staff was friendly and greeted you with smiles. Now the service was above and beyond. They crafted your drinks to your taste and helped guide you to a unique experience. If able try and request a table to get that full lounge experience. But if stopping in for a quick few the bar is a great spot. All drinks are made with the highest level of experience and quality. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality and can’t wait until our next visit!!! You guys keep up the great work and professional hospitality!!!
