Better Than Sex - A Dessert Restaurant

We called for a reservation for a party of 5. Staff on the phone mentioned the table only got 4 people so she will put us by a 2 top and put us “together” we get there and yes we’re we’re put together in the Spence of being side by side but at completely different tables! When I asked about the tables being together host said yes they are together… I’ve worked in the business for over 10yrs and when I tell a client tables will be together means put together. I was then told that they do not take parties over 4 people but yet the server stood in the middle of both tables trying to get our order, so what was the difference of us sitting together? At one point we sat at the table together to take a pic and a shot and the host came to our table and proceeded to say “ um exime but we can’t have you all at that table!” We were there to celebrate my sister in law 40th birthday and wanted to bring her here for a good time instead we were all frustrated and unable to even talk trying to be considerate of the people around us. So FYI if you have more than 4 get ready to not sit together

The owners of this restaurant are the heart and ingredients to every dessert. The passion that they put into making sure your experience is beyond memorable, is amazing. I was so impressed with the decore of the rooms. YOU WANT TO BE THERE!!!! TRUST ME!

First visit to the Greenville location. First experience was in Savannah and it was great. The food in Greenville tasted like it was prepared well in advance and sat in the refrigerator/freezer too long. We got the Red Velvet Cheesecake and it was very dry and tasted stale. Our server was great! The experience overall was fine; was unimpressed with the dessert.

We decided to end our anniversary celebration at Better Than Sex. Upon walking in the mood was clearly set with intention. The staff and ambiance did not disappoint! Tala (sorry if I misspelled) was a wonderful guide and made our first time amazing. The Double Stuffed was as delicious as it sounds and the Winter Sex bread pudding was decadent and included an amazing cherry compote. We also really enjoyed the "spark" questions. Better than Sex is a must try!

Went here with my partner, the location is intimate, low light and romantic. Truly an original and delicious experience in downtown Greenville dining. He had Winter Sex and I had Morning After, his was great—mine was amazing. I know I’m going to be craving this again, and coming back most definitely.
