The atmosphere at Trinity Groves is fantastic. It's very social. I've had two very ugly experiences at Beto & Son. While the food is just "fine" the service is catastrophic. I will NEVER eat there again. I'm part of the Dallas Couch Surfing (CS) monthly meets and the group leader has chosen Trinity Groves as our meet-up site. The first incident was on a Saturday night. We had asked for a table for 10 and we were seated outside under a covering, which was perfect. Only 6 Couch Surfers showed up and then we were served, towards the middle of the meal, two other people showed up. They had already eaten, so they were only there to socialize, but the waitress and later the manager asked them to leave, because "it was too many" even though the table still had empty seats. It was an absolute embracement for the Dallas CS community to invite other people from around the world. Some of the foreigners stated that in their countries, an establishment would be delighted to serve more people. BUT, not at Beto & Son. The second incident happened last night, I again was with CS friends. I ordered take-out and didn't notice until the next morning that I was charged a 20% tip for food "To-Go without my approval. If I had dined at the restaurant I agree, 20% is fair, but when all you do is hand me my food and then slip in a tip, this is unacceptable. Also, I ordered the Carne Asada Torta and the serving size for $23 was was despicable. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! Pollo Regio makes a better Torta at reasonable price. Wheelchair accessibility: Great Access, to Trinity Groves
Our first time to visit today. We were seated immediately. Our server took our drink order and chips, salsa, and black beans humus was brought. The chips and salsa were good but typical. The humus was a mixture of black beans, sour cream, and jalapeno pesto. Delicious! Ordering took forever but that was on us as there was so much to decide on being our first time there. They also offer a vegan menu. We ordered the stacked sour cream tinga chicken enchiladas and a Torta Cubana. (Stacked means layered as opposed to rolled.) It was different! The portions were large, especially with the enchiladas. The purple half disk item shown in the photo is a watermelon radish. This was a first for me. Their specialty is a liquid nitrogen margarita served with encapsulated fruit pearls. As it is being prepared it reaches a temperature of 300° below zero! (See photos) By the way, it too was delicious! A house margarita was also ordered and it was fantastic too! An outside seating area has several televisions and gaming area such as Cornhole for both the little kids and the big kids alike! It's a great place to relax and spend time with family and friends. Our experience was top notch and ZERO disappointments. You owe it to yourself to take your family and check it out.
The atmosphere was awesome. Our server was great as well.
It is a blessing to dine here.
Food was very mid and service was bad. The menu is very over priced for what it’s worth and we definitely wasted our money here.
Really bad service, my wife and I left after waiting 15 minutes to be attended to.
Food was great! We had the fajitas and everything was very flavorful. A TON OF FOOD. Service was great, had a new waitress and she was wonderful. Highly recommend, we'll be back!
Omg the customer service is 10/10 first of all Joe the manager was so kind and attentive ! The vegan tacos and queso bomb!!! The vibes are nice just amazing
