BERBERE by T&T Lifestyle

Easily one of my favorite restaurants. The food is absolutely incredible (try the Wish Meal and Eat the Rainbow in particular, but everything I've had here was great). The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which isn't usually my go to but turns out to be a lovely change of pace. Everybody I've encountered working here was nothing but friendly and the little berbere jars you can buy on your way out make for a lovely little gift to friends and family. Highly recommend!

The spices and flavors are so good! The service was also excellent. My friend and I came here for Sunday brunch; I had the pancakes, and she got the burger. I tried everything. I LOVED my pancakes, which came with potatoes and tofu scramble. Her burger was also amazing.

I have been going to Berbere now for over a year. I've been vegan now for over seven years. There are so many great vegan restaurants in LA, so when I say this I am not trying to take anything away from them, but in my opinion Berbere is the best in the city. The food is just incredible. There is not a bad order on the menu. It's one of those places where you order something, it's so amazing you want to order it every time. But then the waiter or one of their amazing employees suggests something else so you try it and BOOM -- you are addicted to a new dish. That being said the grilled cheese with carmalized onions and the potato lentil tacos are just unreal. Vegan or not vegan, go here. The food is amazing. The wait staff is just incredibly kind and great at their jobs. And the atmosphere somehow always feels like Christmas but you know, without the Christmas. It's hard to explain so just go and experience it for yourself.

so delish! i went for brunch and got the teff pamcakes and hot cacao. both were incredible. i am gluten free and have a bunch of dietary issues but felt so good and fine after the meal. service was so quick too. will be back for more! Dietary restrictions: lots of gluten free optiona

Wow! The food here is so delicious! I was delightfully surprised by the flavors on dishes I had tried before, but they were unbelievably better at Berbere! I can recommend the Breakfast Burrito and the Eat the Rainbow dishes because I tried both, but I think everything must be good here! The coffee was exceptional and served nice and hot! The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I definitely want to come back again!

Delicious food. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. The owner-chef is amazing. Can't wait to return for another exciting Ethiopian dinner. Loved it!
