I think I ordered the wrong thing? I ordered the vegetarian bowl with a mix of greens and rice. It was all rice with a little bit of broccoli for the base (so maybe my order got misread). On the plus side, it's a good amount of food and it's vegetarian. On the minus side: kinda bland, the presentation was sloppy (just all thrown together in a mixture and a little plastic container of sauce), the smoothie was super acidic and tasted like unripe pineapple. I'm left feeling full, but a little bit bad... Like I shouldn't have eaten so much of it and I shouldn't have drank the smoothie... But I'm not hungry anymore. This would be better if the presentation was more like the photos and the smoothie was made with something in season (that's ripe).
We ordered two salads from here and they were both so good! Extremely filling and fresh. The best part is that it’s not crazy expensive. We’re so happy we ordered from here and will definitely become a staple in our diet
Ordered through Uber eats and my pudding was delivered with mold on it unfortunately. Now concerned about the sauce on my food.
This food is incredible, especially if you are vegan and celiac (a near-impossible combo to find options for in this area!). To top it off, it’s affordable. Thanks for providing delicious, healthy food on a budget. Can’t wait to come back. Dietary restrictions: Celiac
This bowl was simply fantastic. Filling, flavorful, and felt so good for me too. I had the pork shoulder healthy bowl and it was really incredible. I can’t say enough. The atmosphere points are just because of the weird waiting room set up. Did not affect the food in anyway. But like a DMV in fact. But I would happily wait in this one.
The food was tasty and a good value. I liked the vegetarian options. Take-out only. This is part of the San Mateo Food Mall, which is not really a mall but a small waiting room in an industrial part of the city. Most of the business seems to be 3rd-party delivery, but there a couple of kiosks where you can order food, and it will be ready in about 15 minutes. The location is about halfway between Hilsdale and Hayward Park Caltrain stations, a moderate walk from the San Mateo Event Center.
Healthy, affordable, and delicious!
