Benihana

My wife and I eat at the one in Miramar all the time. We actually ate there 2 weeks ago. We had friends in town staying in Boca so we met them up at this one. I have to say the worst Benihanna meal we have every had. The food was loaded with pepper. Not sure if it was a bad night but definitely not good.

Terrible experience - only approx 15 people in the whole place. Left after waiting 50 minutes for someone to come cook. 3 hibachi stations with people at them…and 50 minutes. Table next to us go there 30 min later than us but got to “request” a specific chef - extending out wait. Don’t do it - too many other good places to eat

Fantastic encounter! We returned to give it another go after an unsatisfactory first encounter, and this time we had an excellent experience. The chef performed a fantastic show for the family and was hilarious and highly engaging. The hibachi fillet mignon is highly recommended. The service was excellent as well. Much obliged, Benihana

Adolfo Emilio makes really great food! This was originally 5 star review that I changed to 2. While the food here is amazing, yesterday I was subjected to almost 2 hour wait, having made reservations. While waiting, another table got seated. They had more people, so Benihana decides to send their chef out first.

This place is extremely slow and they do not value a customers time. We average well over 2 hours each visit. Food is at best average tasting and overpriced compared to other nearby Hibachi restaurants. Management is non existent when you need to address anything.

Horrible experience and would not recommend at all! I went last night after work so I can use my birthday certificate like I do every year. My food came out and I notice a piece of paper stuck to it, advised the waitress and she says “ok I will tell them to remake it.” No apology or anything. Then when it’s time to give my birthday certificate she tells me I need to spend $5 for it to be honored. I advised the waitress I didn’t know that and come every year with it and she said I can get another order of rice. I said ok and ordered a rice. Next I’m waiting a while to pay for my order. I notice the waitress is talking to a women in a yellow shirt, showing her my certificate and discussing it. In the mist of that two deputies were leaving and the lady in the yellow shirt shows them my birthday certificate. Now I stand up because I’m upset and ready to go. I’m trying to figure out why is the birthday certificate a big deal when I said ok and didn’t cause a big deal but the waitress didn’t run to the manager when i advised her about my plate dirty. When the waitress finally came over I advised her that was unacceptable of someone getting shown my information and I will be dealing bf with it accordingly. She tried to tell me oh that’s another issue the manager is taken care of. Like are your seriously going to lie to me when I have been recording the entire incident and I know it’s my paper from how I folded it and thats the reason your standing there about the birth certificate. Why wasn’t it not important to get the manager when my plate came out dirty, why wasn’t that a big concern! Worst experience ever and wouldn’t recommend at all. Get these young workers who have no customer service or work ethic at all. Everyone will be held accountable.
