Saturday dinner was crazy but so much fun

Fun Friday night. Great showmanship by Alan....

Our reservation was for 730 and they were a lil behind. Not a big deal right? We sat at the table for about 50 mins waiting for for the cheif. The table next to us had been clear and started to be sat as our chief came to our table. With in about 15 mins no of that the other tables chief had already started cook there food. Our chief was cooking g all items one by one and no he was not new, the table asked. As our chief started the rice the other table had completed the meal and as our table was served rice the others had the ice cream. We hadn’t even got our steaks yet. And as per my first statement he cooked each meals steak one at a time. This made the meal 3 hours long and two of those were him cooking. He also had the go get more items four different times. The wait staff was great and even the other chief. Oh and a side note even he had looked over three or four times to figure out what was going on. All and all my girls 21st birthday dinner which we now can’t get back was the worst. 180.00 ish dollars later the meal was the worst possible thing we could have done that night. It even made us late for the other events that we had planned. Our selfs and one of the other couples at the table had even asked for our bill before he was even done cooking because they where late for there other event. I real hope the is seen and the management does something to make it right.

Brought the kids in on Wednesday night. Everything was just as I remembered. Fun times. Thank you Dennis Kid-friendliness: Anything that makes my kid laugh is a-ok to me!

Must have been prom, lots of people in on a Saturday night. Staff were friendly even when some guests got snippy with them at the front. As always Danny knocked it out of the park at the table and Vic was on it for service. Rude people need to stay at home!!!! Parking: Shared lot with a hotel so parking can be tricky

We decided last minute on a Friday night to eat here. We were able to get a table in 15 minutes. The servers were very welcoming and pleasant! And Danny, the chef, was funny and had some neat tricks!

My Most Favorite place in Anchorage. Really delightful staff. Excellent sushi, I think the cost could be ah smidge cheaper. But it is a really great place. I have to go back for hibachi. Additions to my last review: 20-May-2024 Alicia is the best server in Benihana Anchorage. When she's not there Jason is also another great one. They make Benihana that much more homely place. Again great service with these great people meshed with great food makes Benihana by far the best place I have eaten in Anchorage. Thank you guys for the great service. Keep it up. Parking: Parking is always available
