Little Country Kitchen describes Belle's perfectly. We stopped by as they were beginning to close, and they gladly said they would take our order. We ordered the catfish family pack which has a whole mess of fish, two really large sides, and cornbread. The sides we picked were mac and cheese and coleslaw. The mac is good and tasty, but the coleslaw? Y'all, the coleslaw is amazing. Not too sweet, not too savory. Just right. The cornbread is flat, johnny cake style, and is a good compliment to the meal. The catfish is the absolute star of the show. The meat is tender, flaky, and mild. The breading though. Holy cow! The breading is absolutely divine. A perfect blend of crunch, texture, and flavor. Very savory, and perfectly blended. Some of the best I've tasted, and I've tasted quite a bit of catfish over the years. Do yourself a favor, and head over to Belle's when you get a chance. Friday nights are all-you-can-eat catfish, and live music to boot. To say we are fans is an understatement.
